Celebrating a Decade of Support from Microsoft and Dell
For the past 10 years, Indian Women and Child Welfare Trust (IWCWT) has been privileged to receive continued financial support from Microsoft and Dell. This decade-long partnership has been an important part of our journey to reach vulnerable children, women, senior citizens, widows and families in need.
At IWCWT, we believe that meaningful social change takes time, commitment and sustained support. The partnership with Microsoft and Dell has helped us continue programs that focus on some of the most important foundations of a better life: education, skills, dignity, independence and basic support.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Microsoft and Dell for standing with us throughout this journey.
A Decade of Support, A Decade of Impact
Over the last 10 years, the support received through this partnership has contributed to three dedicated programs that directly serve vulnerable communities.
1. Non-Formal Education Program
Education can open doors to opportunities that may otherwise remain out of reach.
Through our Non-Formal Education Program, IWCWT provides learning opportunities to children from underserved communities, including children living in street and slum environments.
The program is designed to provide children with access to basic education, learning support and a positive environment where they can develop their knowledge, confidence and aspirations.
For many children, access to consistent educational support can be an important first step toward a more secure and hopeful future.
2. Vocational Training Program – Sewing Centre
Economic independence begins with opportunity and practical skills.
Through our Vocational Training Program – Sewing Centre, IWCWT provides women and girls with practical sewing and vocational skills that can help them become more confident and explore livelihood opportunities.
The program focuses not only on learning a skill but also on developing confidence, self-reliance and independence.
By providing vocational training, we aim to help women and girls strengthen their ability to contribute to their families and communities while building greater confidence in their own capabilities.
3. Relief to Poor
For vulnerable individuals and families, even basic necessities can sometimes become difficult to afford.
Through our Relief to Poor Program, IWCWT provides food and essential support to people who need assistance, including old-age people and widows.
This initiative reflects our belief that everyone deserves to live with dignity and that no one should be forgotten because of poverty, age or difficult circumstances.
Our support is intended to provide practical assistance while reminding vulnerable individuals that their lives and well-being matter.
More Than Financial Support
Over 10 years, the support from Microsoft and Dell has represented much more than financial assistance.
It has been an investment in people.
It has helped create opportunities for children to learn, enabled women and girls to develop practical skills, and provided essential assistance to vulnerable senior citizens and families.
Every educational opportunity, every vocational skill learned and every act of relief represents a step toward a more hopeful future.
Long-term partnerships are especially important for nonprofit organizations because lasting change cannot always be achieved through short-term interventions. Consistent support allows organizations like IWCWT to continue programs, serve communities and work toward sustainable impact.
Creating Opportunities for the Future
Our work is guided by a simple belief: every person deserves an opportunity to live with dignity, hope and greater independence.
Children deserve opportunities to learn.
Women and girls deserve opportunities to develop skills and build confidence.
Senior citizens and vulnerable families deserve compassion and essential support when they need it most.
The continued support of partners such as Microsoft and Dell has helped IWCWT remain committed to these goals over the years.
As we look toward the future, we hope to continue strengthening our programs and reaching more people who need support.
